Gifting season is right around the corner and we know that gifting your loved ones who read is often a difficult task. Does one pair the book with a coffee mug? Perhaps a satchel? Or how about a pair of scented candles?

We know this season can be overwhelming, and at Champaca we’ve prepared a custom gift box for all the readers who want to stay longer with a book, creating an atmosphere that is thoughtful, intentional, and sensorial.

Here is a special, festive gift box – The Scent of Reading – that introduces you to some translated Kannada stories, curated by Champaca, and paired with organic dhoop sticks from Krishnakala.

An invitation to pause, rest, and relax, in this box, you will receive:

• 1 x 5 Stories: Kannada, edited and translated by Susheela Punitha, which brings together some of the celebrated and impactful Kannada writers of our time including Banu Mushtaq, the winner of the International Booker Prize.

• 1 pack x Lavender Dhoop Sticks, made from a blend of natural resins and botanical ingredients that burn slowly and feel deeply grounding.

• 1 x Set of 3 Champaca Pocket Books to jot down your thoughts while you rest and read.

• 1 x Pastel highlighter for scribbling in the margins of your book and underscoring thoughts and sentences that stand out to you.

• 1 x Champaca bookmark gorgeously designed by our curator.
